Steve Darnell is the Vice-President/General Manager of the Buckley Radio stations in Bakersfield, Ca. and oversees the operations of
KKBB, KLLY, KSMJ and KNZR. Steve also serves as the National Sales Manager in Bakersfield, as well as the Program Director of News/Talk, KNZR. A proud alumnus of Fresno State University, Steve began his radio career in 1991. After working in the Fresno radio market for eleven years in various capacities, Steve joined Buckley Radio in 2002. He is a past Chairman of the Board for the Kern County Broadcasters Association, as well as held board positions for OLPH School, Bakersfield West Rotary, and the City of Clovis Economic Advisory Board. He is a member of the Bulldog Foundation the Fresno
State Quarterback Club. Steve and his wife Pam, have two children.
